| Siberia was far from the frigid place
of western lore. The people were warm and friendly, and treated us like family
wherever we went. By the time we returned to Alaska, our bulging waistlines were ample

learned that, when the Russian's want to describe a cold place, they say "it's colder
than Alaska".
